WATCH: Carlos Alcaraz vacations in Mallorca after Paris Olympics heartbreak; soaks in the beauty of the sea with brother Alvaro and friends

Carlos Alcaraz was captured by cameras at a high-profile restaurant in the picturesque setting of Port d'Andratx, which is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful harbors in Spain's Mallorca. The World No. 3 was also spotted alongside brother Alvaro and a couple of friends soaking in the magical Mediterranean beauty.

Alcaraz's Mallorcan vacation comes on the back of his heartbreaking 6-7(3), 6-7(2) loss to Novak Djokovic in the men's singles gold medal match at the Paris Olympics on Sunday, August 4. The Spaniard's defeat made him tear up, as he had to settle for silver on his Olympics debut.

The reigning French Open and Wimbledon champion also featured in men's doubles action alongside Rafael Nadal, with the duo being ousted in the quarterfinals by USA's Rajeev Ram and Austin Krajicek.

Fast forward to his Mallorcan vacation, and Alcaraz was seen at the iconic Rocamar Restaurant in Port d'Andratx, where he took time out to have photos clicked with a few of the restaurant's staff.

In another moment captured on camera, Carlos Alcaraz could be seen wearing only a pair of shorts as he struck an all-smiles pose with brother Alvaro and two of the siblings' friends.

The World No. 3 also tagged along with the rest of the group as they hilariously tried their hand at rowing on the dazzling blue waters of the Mallorcan harbor.

After his narrow loss to Djokovic at the Olympics turned him tearful, Alcaraz went on to calm down and tell the press about the reason behind his emotional on-court breakdown.

According to the four-time Major winner, he felt like he had let a lot of people down, which resulted in his tears. However, the Spaniard soon turned optimistic as he looked forward to featuring at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics, where he said he will be gunning for gold.

"I have felt like I have disappointed many people who had hoped that I would win the gold medal. That's why well some tears have escaped me. Have to appreciate the moment, in the end we have won an Olympic medal we have made the medal table, go up a medal, a silver medal. It's true that it's a nice moment right now that I've calmed down, that I really realize what I've achieved and it's a special moment in my life in my career. We're going to try to enjoy this moment but we have to keep working and in Los Angeles we want the gold one," Carlos Alcaraz said.

The World No. 3 has opted to sit out the ongoing National Bank Open in Montreal, and would be hoping to get rejuvenated before the 2024 US Open, where main draw matches are set to commence on Sunday, August 26.
