The 2025 United Cup is set to kick off the new tennis season in just a few days, featuring almost 100 players, including top stars like Coco Gauff, Iga Swiatek, Taylor Fritz, and Alexander Zverev. Representing their nations in this prestigious team event in Australia, the players have begun arriving in the cities where their group matches will take place.

The United Cup's official X account has regularly updated the arrivals of the tennis stars in Australia. World No. 2 Iga Swiatek touched down in Sydney and talked about how Poland was "inches away" from winning the event last year, having lost to Germany in the final. She believes the Polish team is "amazing" and hopes to fight for the title again.

Poland have been drawn with the Czech Republic and Norway in Group B and they will be playing their group matches in Sydney.

Also in Sydney are the newly-engaged couple Katie Boulter and Alex de Minaur. They announced their engagement recently but will be on opposite ends at the United Cup as Boulter's Great Britain has been drawn against De Minaur's Australia in Group F.

Perth will also be graced with star power as several big tennis nations are making their way into the city. Defending champion Germany has touched down in the city with World No. 2 Alexander Zverev leading the nation.

Team USA featuring Taylor Fritz and Coco Gauff was greeted at the Perth airport with soft toys.

Greece's Maria Sakkari was all smiles upon receiving a packet of Tim Tams at the airport, a gift she plans to savor at the pace of one piece per day throughout the event.

Meanwhile, players have hit the practice courts to prepare for the tournament. A video shared online showed Canada’s Felix Auger-Aliassime and other participants training under the intense Australian heat.
