WATCH: Danielle Collins ropes in her pet dog Quincy to hilariously re-enact Taylor Swift's viral Eras Tour teaser with her cat
Danielle Collins recently, with the help of her pet dog, Quincy humorously recreated American pop sensation Taylor Swift's viral Eras Tour teaser with her cat. Collins' most recent match on the WTA tour was at the 2024 Guadalajara Open, and she has since been absent from competing, missing the Asian Swing.
The American kicked off her season with a string of impressive performances . She won the 2024 Miami Open by defeating Elena Rybakina in the final and followed it up with another title win at the Charleston Open by overcoming Daria Kasatkina in the title clash.
The World No.9 had a runner-up finish at the 2024 Internationaux de Strasbourg, losing the title to compatriot Madison Keys. She also reached the semifinals at the Italian Open and had quarterfinal runs at the Qatar Open and the ATX Open.
After a disastrous US Open campaign, Collins competed at the Guadalajara Open, where she was eliminated in the second round by qualifier and eventual runner-up Olivia Gadecki.
Following her campaign in Guadalajara, the American took to social media to share a video of herself with her pet dog Quincy, comically recreating Taylor Swift's video with her cat. Swift had shared the video ahead of commencing her Eras Tour in Miami at the Hard Rock Stadium.
"Re-enacting @taylorswift and Olivia’s most recent IG drop. How did Mr.Q and I do!?" Collins captioned her Instagram post.
