WATCH: Daria Kasatkina & girlfriend Natalia Zabiiako dance along with each other in fun-filled session as duo spend quality time together
Daria Kasatkina and her girlfriend Natalia Zabiiako recently showed off their dance moves in a video shared on Instagram. The two could be seen dancing to the tunes of Russian singer Zivert's newly released song in the short clip they shared.
Kasatkina publicly came out as gay in 2022 and revealed that she was in a relationship with Russian-Estonian competitive pair skater Natalia Zabiiako the same year. The two have been together ever since. In 2023, the Russian shared that she had been apprehensive about coming out and was prepared to receive some flak. Instead, her coming out led to only positive responses, including from players, which she was thankful for:
“This topic is very sensitive, so I was ready for some negative reaction, but there was nothing like that. I’m very thankful because that makes me feel so good. Some of the players were coming to me, sometimes they’re still coming to me, to say ‘yeah, it’s cool’ or ‘congrats’ to me. That’s nice,” Kasatkina told the Guardian.
The couple have shared quite a few photos and videos from their moments together on their social media accounts. Zabiiako has also been seen accompanying Kasatkina on tour. They also have a YouTube channel called 'What the Vlog' where they give a behind-the-scenes look into their lives, meet up for interviews and adventures with different players, and so on.
Kasatkina and Zabiiako recently shared a video on Instagram where they can be seen dancing to Russian singer Zivert's latest song 'мутки'.
"A little bit of shuffling, improvisation and dancing," read a translated version of the video's caption.

After clinching her maiden grasscourt title at the 2024 Eastbourne International, Daria Kasatkina went to see her team after the post-match handshakes. She was met mid-way with an embrace from her girlfriend Natalia Zabiiako, who was there to cheer the Russian on. Here's a video of the celebratory moment below:
Kasatkina defeated Leylah Fernandez 6-3, 6-4 in the summit clash. During the on-court interview, she thanked her team for being with her through the good and the bad times and also thanked Zabiiako:
“Thanks to my team. It’s been a long road to the title. But I’m really proud of us. I’m proud of the work we put in and the outcome. Thank you so much for being next to me. It doesn’t matter how bad it is or how good it is… thanks to my coach, Flavio. Thanks to my brother and fitness coach Alex. Thanks to my better half, Natasha.”
However, Kasatkina couldn't take this form into Wimbledon where she was defeated in the third round by Paula Badosa.
