WATCH: Holger Rune's exercise routine adorably recreated by 5-year-old fan

Holger Rune's unique training routine led to an adorable rendition of the same from a five-year-old. The little fan gave it his best shot, attempting to mimic the perfection with which the Danish tennis star performed the exercise.

In the original routine, Rune can be seen using a pull rope while turning towards either side of his body multiple times. The five-year-old fan's rendition even drew the attention of Rune's coach Patrick Mouratoglou.

Rune has been increasingly focusing on his fitness over the past few months in particular and has credited an improved diet for better match fitness.

The 19-year-old overcame the disappointment of losing a close five-set thriller to Andrey Rublev in the fourth round of the 2023 Australian Open with wins in both his singles matches and a solitary doubles match in Denmark's Davis Cup World Group play-off tie.

Rune beat India's Yuki Bhambri in straight sets to give Denmark an early lead before partnering with Johannes Ingildsen to win the doubles contest against Rohan Bopanna and Bhambri to take the home team 2-1 up. The world No. 9 then sealed the tie for Denmark with a straight-sets win over former India No. 1 Sumit Nagal.

Coach Patrick Mouratoglou reacted to Holger Rune's tough loss in the fourth round of the 2023 Australian Open to Andrey Rublev. While he lamented that Rune lost the match on a net-cord in the match tiebreaker, Mouratoglou went on to laud the 'enthusiastic' and 'courageous' Rune and declared that the teenager would achieve a lot in the future.

“It is always disappointing to lose, and even more on a net cord ball. We have to congratulate Andrey Rublev for a great match and wish him to go far into the Australian Open!” Patrick Mouratoglou wrote on Instagram.
"I want to express my admiration for this young player Holger Rune for all the progress he has made. He is courageous, he is full of enthusiasm and energy and he will achieve great things in the future without a doubt," the Frenchman added.
