After her impressive triumph over Jessica Bouzas at the 2024 US Open, Jessica Pegula rode the subway for the second time during the US Open. She later shared a post comparing her experience to the adventures of Kourtney and Kim Kardashian.
Pegula shared a video of her commuting by subway for the second time during the ongoing 2024 US Open, having previously used it to reach her practice session. This time, she opted to use the Long Island Railroad based on fans' recommendations.
She wrote in the caption:

In the video, Pegula can be heard saying,
"This is round two. We are headed back. We are taking the Long Island Railroad home back to the city by popular demand. I was told this is way easier and faster and nicer and better."
During her subway commute, she reflected on the small paw tattoo she got around at 18 to commemorate her first two dogs.
Wrapping up her subway trip, she expressed her gratitude to fans for their suggestions and stated the commute was simpler than riding in a car and made her feel like a "real New Yorker."
Following the ride, Pegula, whose family owns the Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres sports teams among other business ventures, shared a post from a fan that referenced the Kardashian sisters taking a ride on the subway on an episode of their show "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" in 2010. The video Pegula shared showed Kourtney and Kim Kardashian's subway outing.

Pegula said that while she was initially hesitant about the outfit, she later came to appreciate it, noting the outfit had some useful features. Following her first round at the US Open she reflected on her initial reaction to the dress.
âThey showed it to me, and I was, like, âOh, tough, I don't know. It grew on me a lot,â Pegula told Baseline.
âI know that it somehow helped with airflow and heat based on the black and white on the sleeves and the shoulders⌠as well, I think, to block the sun off your shoulders,â she added.
