WATCH: Taylor Fritz makes a special appearance at Los Angeles Chargers game; excites fans in stadium with "Bolt Up" tradition
Taylor Fritz was spotted at an NFL game during his off-season. The American tennis player was spotted at the Los Angeles Chargers game, who took on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at the SoFi Stadium, the home ground of the Los Angeles team.
Being a Californian himself, Fritz is often seen at Chargers games. He had previously been seen attending the games with his girlfriend Morgan Riddle. In this instance, the American, who donned the Chargers' No. "1" jersey, was seen in a jubilant and excited mood at the stadium.
To egg on the crowd, Fritz engaged in a fun activity of winding up a turbine seemingly to "Bolt Up" everyone present. The American shared his moments of the game on his social media account.

However, unfortunately for Fritz and the home fans, the game was a dismal loss for the Chargers. Despite leading the first half 17-13, the home team completely disintegrated in the second half. They conceded 30 straight points, losing the match 40-17.
Fritz was last seen on the tennis court at the ATP Finals in Turin. The American has been enjoying his off-season, off the court completely, as he was absent from the two high-profile tennis exhibition events that took place in Madison Square Garden and Charlotte.
2024 was the best season for Taylor Fritz in his career
Taylor Fritz finished his 2024 season as the World No. 4, which is a higher career ranking to date. This fact itself signifies that the American player had an exceptional season this year. The American No. 1 won titles in Delray Beach and Eastbourne.
However, for Fritz, what stood out were the two high-profile finals he reached in the second half of the season. The 27-year-old reached the finals of the US Open and the year-ending ATP Finals. Even though he lost to Jannik Sinner on both occasions, his ascent to the summit clashes at the two of the most prestigious events on the calendar is a sign of revival for American men's tennis.
Fritz has shown remarkable improvements in his game, which can be seen from his results, especially on clay courts. The red dirt was always a kryptonite for the hard-hitting Californian, but he made inroads in that aspect as well. The World No. 4 reached his maiden clay-court final in Munich and had an impressive 68% win record on the surface this year.
With his game constantly improving and him being more mentally resilient each year, Fritz will be one of the top contenders at the Grand Slams in 2025.
