Leylah Fernandez publicly appreciated the advice given to her by her younger sister Bianca. During the French Open this year, Fernandez shared that her younger sister had given her some advice regarding how to deal with online abuse and trolling. Fernandez complimented her sister on having such level-headedness even at the young age of 20.

"On my Instagram, I'm just reading messages. I won, but still the same beautiful as if I have lost. It's fine. The only thing I gotta do is smile and just enjoy those messages," My sister said it best. That's people who have no life. Laugh at them and that's it. You keep living your life, so that's it. My younger sister has great advice and she's only like 20. I was supposed to be giving her advices, not the other way around." said Fernandez

Earlier this year, Fernandez was seen cheering her sister on during the latter's college tennis match when she was representing UCLA. Upon Bianca's victory, Fernandez shared the news on her Instagram handle, expressing pride in her sibling's achievements.

"Good win for UCLA! And Bianca won!! Don't mind me, proud sister here." wrote Fernandez on Instagram.

The Fernandez siblings have a foundation together, named the Leylah Annie & Family Foundation. The organization aims to bring sports and education together, giving out sports scholarships and grants to aspiring students.
