Who is Aryna Sabalenka's boyfriend? All you need to know about Georgios Frangulis, the Brazilian entrepreneur who's been cheering her on at US Open

Aryna Sabalenka's boyfriend is Georgios Frangulis, a Brazilian entrepreneur who founded a company named Oakberry that harvests acai berries. Frangulis has been present in the Belarusian's box during the ongoing US Open.

Frangulis was born in Brazil and later studied law, even though he did not become a lawyer and eventually became a businessman. He founded Oakberry in 2016, and the company has grown exponentially over the years, with over 700 stores at present. The Brazilian was also on the cover of Forbes Brazil in June 2023.

Frangulis and Aryna Sabalenka started dating early in 2024, after the death of the Belarusian's ex-boyfriend Konstantin Koltsov. He was present in Cincinnati when Sabalenka won the WTA 1000 event after defeating Jessica Pegula in the final.

Frangulis has also been present in the two-time Australian Open champion's player box during the US Open.

Aryna Sabalenka recently spoke to PEOPLE about how Frangulis supported her during a period that was tough. The Belarusian said that she was "really happy" to have him by her side.

“There was a really tough period where I was really happy to have him by my side, always cheering me up, always making sure that we are doing some fun stuff. But I make sure I kind of forget about tennis and focus on the good things and enjoy my life. Even when things are going wrong in my career. So yeah, he was my biggest support and yeah, really happy to have him by my side," Sabalenka said.

The World No. 2 has had an impressive run so far at the US Open, where she started with a 6-3, 6-3 win over Priscilla Hon before beating Lucia Bronzetti 6-3, 6-1. Sabalenka then came back from a set down to defeat 29th seed Ekaterina Alexandrova 2-6, 6-1, 6-2 and book her place in the fourth round.

The 26-year-old then beat 33rd seed Elise Mertens 6-2, 6-4 to set up a quarterfinal clash against seventh seed Zheng Qinwen. Sabalenka thrashed the Olympic champion 6-1, 6-2 to book her place in the US Open semifinals for the fourth successive year.

The Belarusian will next take on 13th seed Emma Navarro, with the winner facing either sixth seed Jessica Pegula or Karolina Muchova in the final.
