"Who is going to stop this toxic man?" – Martina Navratilova reacts to Elon Musk reportedly naming government employees he wants to fire

Martina Navratilova recently expressed her disapproval of Elon Musk's action of publicly naming government employees he intends to fire. Musk is expected to head the Department of Government Efficiency once President-elect Donald Trump assumes office.

Trump emerged victorious over Kamala Harris in this year's presidential elections to secure a second term as President of the United States. He previously served as the 45th president from 2017 to 2021.

The 78-year-old will officially take office as the 47th president of the country in January 2025, with JD Vance as the vice president-elect. Trump has announced that Elon Musk will lead the Department of Government Efficiency to streamline government bureaucracy.

According to CNN, the 53-year-old entrepreneur recently reposted several messages on X (formerly Twitter), a social media platform he acquired in 2022, revealing the names and positions of federal government employees he wishes to remove. This move garnered negative attention and criticism from the employees.

In light of this, 18-time Grand Slam champion Martina Navratilova took to social media to question whether Elon Musk, whom she described as a "toxic man," will ever be "stopped."

“Who is going to stop this toxic man?" Navratilova posted on X (formerly Twitter).

Before labeling Elon Musk a "toxic man" for reportedly naming federal government employees he wants to fire, Martina Navratilova accused the Tesla CEO of "rigging" the 2024 US Presidential elections.

After the results of this year's Presidential election, American journalist and writer Craig Unger, who is known for his criticism of the Republican party, to which Donald Trump belongs, accused Musk of "shadow-banning" him on X (formerly Twitter) as his posts were no longer reaching the same level of engagement as before.

“Shadow-banning anyone? It's interesting how I have--or used have-over 50K followers- and when I did a good tweet I could get 750K page views, but now I get only 520 page views when I retweet. What's Elon afraid of?" Unger posted on X.

In response to Unger's accusations, Navratilova accused Elon Musk of manipulating the system by purchasing Twitter in 2022, insinuating that he used his influence to suppress posts critical of the Republican party during the elections, preventing users from seeing criticisms aimed at the party and in turn, Donald Trump.

“Elon has rigged the system in a big way. Buying twitter was his best investment ever," Navratilova posted on X.

Martina Navratilova has been a long-time critic of Donald Trump and right-wing politics. She often uses social media to voice her opinions.
