World Tennis League 2024: Where to watch, TV schedule, live streaming details, and more

The third edition of the World Tennis League will run from December 19-22, 2024 at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi. Dubbed as the "Greatest Show on Court", the exhibition event has attracted some of the biggest names in the sport this year as well.

16 players have been divided into four teams, with the top two teams battling it out for the title on Sunday, December 22. Five-time Major champion Iga Swiatek is set to lead Team Eagles, with Alexander Shevchenko along with dating couple Stefanos Tsitsipas and Paula Badosa being her teammates.

World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka will take charge of Team Hawks, and she has Sumit Nagal, Jordan Thompson, and teen star Mirra Andreeva as company. Current top 10 players Andrey Rublev and Elena Rybakina have been paired with former top 10 players Caroline Garcia and Denis Shapovalov in Team Falcons.

Casper Ruud and Jasmine Paolini, who have five Major finals between them, will be part of Team Kites. They'll compete alongside Nick Kyrgios, who's on the comeback trail, as well as former World No. 1 Simona Halep.

The 2023 edition was won by Team Eagles, which consisted of Daniil Medvedev, Sofia Kenin, Rublev, and Andreeva. The latter two are part of a different team this year. The Russian was initially set to compete but withdrew from the tournament a few days ago, and was replaced by Shapovalov.

This year's edition of the tournament promises some exciting match-ups. Swiatek, Sabalenka, and Rybakina have been three of the most consistent players on the WTA Tour in recent years. Their rivalry has become a cornerstone of women's tennis, and fans will get to see them reignite it earlier than expected.

With the 2025 season set to begin in less than two weeks, this gives players an opportunity to test themselves in a relatively stress-free environment. Their competitive drive is matched by their camaraderie in such an event. On that note, here's a look at how one can watch their favorite players in action at the World Tennis League 2024.
