WTA Rankings update: Bianca Andreescu and Emma Raducanu back in the top 200 after impressive runs in 's-Hertogenbosch and Nottingham

Former US Open champions Bianca Andreescu and Emma Raducanu made massive jumps in this week's WTA rankings thanks to their recent performances. The Canadian participated in the Libema Open in 's-Hertogenbosch and made it to the final.

This was Andreescu's second tournament following her return to the tour last month. She knocked out Eva Vedder, Yuan Yue, Naomi Osaka, and Dalma Galfi before losing to Liudmila Samsonova in a closely contested final. Nevertheless, the Canadian jumped 65 places to No. 163 this week.

Raducanu made the semifinals in Nottingham, which also pushed her back into the top 200 as she zoomed up 44 places to No. 165. She gave defending champion Katie Boulter a run for her money but lost to her in three sets.

Andreescu and Raducanu are both rebuilding their careers after injury setbacks. Given how they played last week, it's only a matter of time before they're back on top if they keep up this level.

The upper echelon of women's tennis remains unperturbed in this week's WTA rankings as most top players opted to rest last week after the French Open. World No. 1 Iga Swiatek has a massive lead over the rivals, with the Pole comfortably seated atop the summit with 11,695 points.

She's in no danger of relinquishing her position any time soon. Coco Gauff is ranked No. 2 with 7,988 points, with Aryna Sabalenka right on her tail at No. 3 with 7,788 points. Both of them are competing in Berlin this week and will fight to be ranked No. 2, as that would mean avoiding Swiatek until the final.

Sabalenka needs to reach the final and for Gauff to lose early to regain her position as No. 2. The American can maintain her place if she reaches the final, regardless of the Belarusian's result. The rest of the top 10 also remains the same as last week. However, there's a fair amount of shake-up outside of it.

Marta Kostyuk and Emma Navarro have performed quite well this season and their rise to the top isn't surprising. Both moved up a spot each to No. 16 and No. 17 respectively, a new career high for them.

Katerina Siniakova cracked the top 30 of the WTA rankings this week. The Czech rose by a place to No. 30 at the expense of Katie Boulter, who was pushed down to No. 31 despite a successful title defense in Nottingham.

Karolina Pliskova, who lost to the Brit in the Nottingham final, jumped eight spots to No. 42. Viktoriya Tomova (No. 63), Moyuka Uchijima (No. 72), Katie Volynets (No. 73), and Renata Zarazua are among the other players to achieve new career peaks.
