"You hated the Jeep" - Taylor Fritz and girlfriend Morgan Riddle engage in playful banter after Riddle purchases her first "big girl" car
Taylor Fritz's girlfriend Morgan Riddle shared a glimpse of the duo's friendly online banter after she purchased a Ford. She hails from Minnesota and met Fritz through a dating app after she moved to New York.
The couple announced their relationship in 2020 and Riddle, who had previously worked in the real estate and media space, transitioned into a social media influencer. She chronicles the couple's life on and off the court as she travels with Fritz on the ATP Tour.
Riddle took to Instagram to share a picture and a short clip of her new car. In the clip, she could be seen going around the car to take a 360-degree look before laughing at being caught on camera.
Reflecting on the first car that she bought via an online classified ad, she captioned the clip:
"I bought my first car off craiglist for $500, last night I made my first big girl purchase."
Riddle also shared the screenshot of her chat with Taylor Fritz discussing her latest buy.
"You hated the Jeep," wrote Taylor as per the screenshot shared by Riddle.
"I didn't hate it. I was genuinely worried it would like just stopped working one day. When you're driving it," Riddle joked.
Taylor text-laughed after which Riddle shared:
"I've been driving a 2011 Jeep Wrangler with 190,000 miles on it. Ran like a champ but she was on her last legs."
Riddle was last spotted in Fritz's player box, supporting him during the 2024 US Open final where Fritz was the runner-up. He lost to Jannik Sinner.

Taylor Fritz was just one step away when Jannik Sinner brought an end to the American's dream of lifting the 2024 US Open trophy. Sinner closed the final showdown 6-3, 6-4, 7-5 in his favor to lift his second Grand Slam trophy.
Both players remained composed as they shook hands and embraced each other at the net after the match. Fritz later let out his emotions as he sat, head in his hands, in his chair, and broke down.
During the presentation ceremony, the 26-year-old choked while addressing the crowd. He said:
"I know you've been waiting for a (American) champion for a long time, so I'm sorry I couldn't get it done this time, but I'm going to keep working and hopefully I'll get it done next time, thank you," Fritz added.
Riddle, who was present in the stands, was quick to offer her love and support. She posted a personal message to Fritz on Instagram.
"What an amazing week. @taylor_fritz could not be more proud of you and grateful to support you. your dedication and drive inspires me so much every day. forever your biggest fan," Riddle wrote.
With the beginning of the Asian swing of the ATP tour, Taylor Fritz is next likely to be seen on-court at the Chengdu Open.
