Novak Djokovic's wife Jelena has extended warm wishes to Boris Becker on his wedding to Lilian de Carvalho Monteiro. Becker, who coached Djokovic between 2013 and 2016, has maintained a close relationship with the Serb and his family since then.
After two years of dating, Becker tied the knot with Lilian, a political risk manager, in a picturesque ceremony in Portofino, Italy, on September 14. The German, who was previously married to designer-actress Barbara Feltus from 1993 to 2001 and Dutch model Sharlely "Lilly" Kerssenberg from 2009 to 2018, celebrated his "new beginnings" with Lilian.
The former World No. 1 shared a glimpse of their beautiful wedding on social media, showing off his off-white tuxedo and Lilian's elegant strapless white gown. Becker also posted touching pictures of his sons Noah and Elias walking him down the aisle and standing by his side during the ceremony.
"New beginnings… I want to thank Victor Monteiro for his blessings and everyone that celebrated this special day with us. Let me introduce you to the Monteiro-Becker family. 🙏🏽 💍♾️," Becker captioned his Instagram post.

Novak Djokovic fulfilled his long-held dream of clinching the men's singles Olympic gold for Serbia at the 2024 Paris Games, claiming a 7-6(3), 7-6(2) win over Carlos Alcaraz in the final.
Upon returning to Belgrade, the 37-year-old was greeted with an enthusiastic reception, with thousands of fans applauding and cheering passionately as he stepped out on the City Hall's balcony. Boris Becker was delighted by the hero's welcome for the 24-time Grand Slam champion, hailing him as the "pride and joy" of Serbia.

Despite Djokovic's title drought before the Paris Olympics, Becker had remained confident of the World No. 4's chances to triumph at the prestigious event. The German accurately predicted that representing his country would give the Serb the extra motivation he needed to fight off the formidable younger competitors.
"He has never won an Olympic gold and if you’ve won everything else there is to win, it’s only natural that you want to win the one that’s not in your trophy cabinet," Becker said.
"With that in mind, I expect to see a very motivated Novak Djokovic at these Olympics. Playing for Serbia will give him the extra 10% he needs against these great young players who are emerging now," he added.
