Novak Djokovic and Serena Williams win 2013 ITF awards

Serbia’s Novak Djokovic won the men International Tennis Federation Champion of the year 2013 and U.S.’s  Serena Williams won the women International Tennis Federation Champion of the year 2013 award.

This is the third straight year for Djokovic who finishes the year in No. 2 spot of ATP ranking. Djokovic won the Australian Open, 2013 and finished runner up at the Wimbledon,2013 and the US Open,2013.

For Serena Williams this is the fourth time that she won this award. Serena finishes the year as world no. 1 women player and she captured the French Open and US Open in 2013.

Men’s doubles world champions award went to American twins Bob and Mike Bryan, and this was their 10th times in 11 years.

Women’s doubles award went to Sara Errani and Roberta Vinci of Italy.
