Novak Djokovic marries pregnant fiancée Jelena Ristic in luxurious Montenegro resort
Recently crowned Wimbledon champion Novak Djokovic has married long-time love Jelena Ristic in a private ceremony in the seaside Adriatic resort of Sveti Stefan in Montenegro. Jelena Ristic, a model and entrepreneur, is six months pregnant with the couple’s first baby.
The first of two ceremonies is a hush-hush affair
This is the first of the two vows planned by the couple. According to reports, they are scheduled to tie the knot again in a large ceremony on Saturday.
Local media also reported that the guests and the staff present at the nuptials had to sign a confidentiality agreement which prevents them from disclosing the details of the wedding. The couple has agreed to sell the photographic rights to Hello! Magazine and the proceeds would go to charity.
High school sweethearts complete fairytale love story
Djokovic and Ristic are high school sweethearts and have been together for more than 8 years. Ristic is often seen in the stands during the Serb’s matches, and she is usually among his most vociferous supporters. Ristic is also frequently spotted at the ATP parties and events that Djokovic attends.
The World number 1, who announced his engagement to Ristic last September, had dedicated his second Wimbledon victory to his yet-to-be born child and his fiancée at the presentation ceremony on Centre Court.
"I would like to dedicate this to my future wife and our future baby," Djokovic had said. "I am going to become a father soon and it is the greatest joy in life.

Among the other confirmed guests were Djokovic’s compatriot from the ATP tour Janko Tipsarevic, and his brother Marko Djokovic.
