Grigor Dimitrov vs Sebastian Korda preview
Third seed Grigor Dimitrov will take on Sebastian Korda in the second round of the 2024 Cinch Championships.
Dimitrov was drawn against World No. 21 Adrian Mannarino in the first round. The Bulgarian breezed through the opening set as he claimed it for the loss of only one game.
Mannarino was able to keep up with Dimitrov at the start of the second set but the latter soon ran away with the match. The 33-year-old reeled off five games in a row to score an easy 6-1, 6-2 win in a little over an hour.
Korda arrived in London on the heels of a runner-up finish at the Libema Open over the weekend. He faced World No. 22 Karen Khachanov in the first round here.
Both players remained solid on serve for most of the first set. Khachanov almost managed to force a tie-break but Korda broke his serve in the final game of the set to take it.
The two matched each other shot for shot in the second set as neither ceded any ground on serve. The set eventually went to a tie-break, in which Korda came out on top to register a 7-5, 7-6 (5) victory.
Grigor Dimitrov vs Sebastian Korda head-to-head
The two have split their previous couple of meetings evenly to tie the head-to-head at 1-1. Dimitrov won their most recent encounter at the 2024 Open 13 Provence in straight sets.

Grigor Dimitrov vs Sebastian Korda prediction
Dimitrov was at his best as he made light work of Mannarino in the previous round. He won 86 percent of his first serve points and struck a total of 28 winners. As for Korda, Khachanov gave him a tough time but he prevailed in the end.
The American won an impressive 90 percent of points on first serve and hit 30 winners during the match. His grass swing is already off to a strong start as he reached the final of the Libema Open. He was a semifinalist here last year as well, and will be keen to better that result.
However, Korda is 0-8 against top-10 opposition this year. He has found it tough to outfox the best of the best on the tour. Most of Dimitrov's recent losses have been against players ranked higher than him. The Bulgarian's resurgence has been quite impressive and he should be able to handle everything thrown at him by the young American.
Pick: Grigor Dimitrov to win in three sets.
