Roger Federer to skip Indian Wells and Miami Masters; to return in Monte Carlo
17-time Grand Slam champion Roger Federer will miss the Indian Wells Open and the Miami Open scheduled to start from the 3rd of March and 23rd of Match respectively, as he requires some more time to recover fully from the knee surgery that he underwent recently.

The Swiss ace will now return to action in April at the Monte Carlo Masters. Interestingly, he had pulled out of the entire clay court season this year at the end of last season, only to directly come to Roland Garros to play in 2nd Grand Slam of the year.
Federer has not yet won in Monte Carlo and will certainly look to restart his season with a maiden victory over there.
