Rory McIlroy and Caroline Wozniacki deny break-up rumours

Rory McIlroy and Caroline Wozniacki have denied reports suggesting that the pair had ended their relationship.

The breakup rumours were ignited by Irish newspaper Independent after they reported that Wozniacki is “utterly distraught” after her break-up with McIlroy.

Both McIlroy and Wozniacki reacted on their respective twitter accounts with Wozniacki even changing her profile picture in the process.

“I’d love to know who this guy source is… Seems to pop up in the papers all the time and is wrong 99.9% of the time!” said McIlroy on his Twitter account.

McIlroy, who won the U.S. Open in 2011 and the PGA Tour in 2012, has been having a tough year so far as the golfer relinquished his world No. 1 ranking to Tiger Woods.
