Milos Raonic vs Roberto Bautista Agut preview
Former Wimbledon runner-up Milos Raonic will square off against Roberto Bautista Agut in the second round of the 2024 Libema Open on Thursday, June 13.
Returning from a three-month injury hiatus, Raonic was up against eighth seed Jordan Thompson in the first round. The Canadian didn't show any signs of rust as he dominated the proceedings from start to finish.
Both sets played out the same way, with Raonic breaking Thompson's serve once in each set to register a 6-3, 6-4 win. It marked his fourth win of the season and his second over a top-40 player this year.
Bautista Agut was initially slated to compete in the qualifying rounds but a spate of withdrawals opened up a main draw spot for him. He was drawn against Marc-Andrea Huesler in the first round.
The opening set was a close affair as neither player got close to a break point, which led to a tie-break. Bautista Agut was on the backfoot at first but saved a couple of set points en route to claiming the set. The Spaniard played with more confidence in the next set, and broke Huesler's serve twice to secure a 7-6 (7), 6-2 win.

Milos Raonic vs Roberto Bautista Agut prediction
Both played some amazing tennis in the first round, with neither facing even a single break point throughout the match. Raonic was outstanding on serve, winning 89 percent of his first serve points. He also hit 14 aces and lost a total of eight points on serve during the contest.
Bautista Agut's stats weren't as impressive but he did a good job to keep Huesler at bay. He will now aim to tally his first-ever win over Raonic. The Spaniard has struggled in this rivalry and has nabbed only two sets across their five matches.
Raonic also won their only encounter on grass with ease, beating Bautista Agut 6-1, 6-4 at the 2016 Queen's Club Championships. Given how the Canadian played in the previous round, he's likely to extend his winning record over his old rival.
Pick: Milos Raonic to win in straight sets.
