Sania hosts kids day clinic in Yale
New Haven (Connecticut) - Indian tennis star Sania Mirza, who was here to take part in a tournament, took some time off to host a kids day clinic at the campus of the Ivy League Yale University.
“We’re really excited to be here,” said Sania, who played a doubles match at New Haven Open Tournament with Bethanie Mattek-Sands.
“It’s always great to play tennis with kids wherever we go because it shows how much interest they have in tennis. As players, we love to see people playing tennis and following tennis, especially kids and especially in an atmosphere like Yale University.
“I won the doubles tournament here a few years ago, so I’m excited to be back,” Sania said.
