Lehecka snapped his losing streak by reaching the quarterfinals at the Hamburg Open, where he lost 5-7, 3-6 to Tomas Martin Etcheverry. In Stuttgart, the eighth seed began his campaign with a 6-4, 6-4 win over Benjamin Bonzi in the first round. He maintained his form as he then won 6-4, 7-5 against home favorite Jan-Lennard Struff in the second round.
