He reached his second Masters semifinal at the 2024 Madrid Open, defeating Francisco Cerundolo, and became the first American player to reach Madrid's semifinal since it switched to clay in 2009 and the third after Robby Ginepri and Andre Agassi.

Fritz's dedication to the sport is further exemplified by his contributions to international competitions. He played a pivotal role in capturing the inaugural United Cup for Team USA in 2023 and was instrumental in Team World's triumph at the 2022 Laver Cup.
