Andre Agassi makes his feelings known about Carlos Alcaraz
Andre Agassi spoke highly of Carlos Alcaraz during a recent visit to India. The American star hailed Alcaraz as a mixture of the 'Big Three' but warned that it does not guarantee success.
Agassi said Alcaraz has the defence of Djokovic and the wrists and power of Rafael Nadal. The American added that Alcaraz has the finesse of Roger Federer, which makes him one of the best players in the world.
"Alcaraz defends like Novak [Djokovic], has power and spin like [Rafael] Nadal, and has hands and finesse like [Roger] Federer," Andre Agassi said during the TiE Global Summit 2024 (via Sportstar). "But just because he has the best of all three doesn’t mean he can do what they did. Decision-making, injuries and luck... there are so many things."

Jack Draper cancels training session with Carlos Alcaraz
Jack Draper was scheduled to have a week-long training session with Carlos Alcaraz during the pre-season. However, the Brit star has cancelled the training due to a niggle.
Speaking in an interview during his appearance at the Memory Walk, the Brit No. 1 said that he had suffered a minor issue in his hip area during the off-season. Draper further added that it would be unfair on Alcaraz if he is training with the Spaniard despite not being at his 100 per cent.
"I have a niggle in my hip area and in terms of going to Spain and training at that level of intensity with Carlos, I had to make that call because it's not fair on him if I go and I'm not 100 percent," he said (as quoted by Daily Mail).

Andre Agassi predicts Novak Djokovic's tennis future

With Federer and Nadal both retired, Agassi believed that Djokovic would soon run out of energy to compete. The former World No. 1 added that he felt the same when his long-term rival Sampras decided to hang up his boots.
"I think he’ll run out of energy more than capability, especially when the people you came to the dance with have left."
