Zverev and Alcaraz both played big-money exhibition matches. Alcaraz even claimed that money was a big motivation for him after he participated in the Six Kings Slam. Gaudenzi said that players should avoid playing these tournaments to deal with the hectic tennis schedule.

"Some players choose to do a lot of exhibitions off the tour. You don't see that in other sports. The question is whether you want to invest on the tour or off the tour. Shorten the season? OK, but then you have to reduce the number of ATP 250 tournaments . Players can also decide to play fewer exhibitions and spend more time resting," Gaudenzi told L'Equipe.

Boris Becker writes a farewell message for Lewis Hamilton

Boris Becker penned an emotional message for F1 star Lewis Hamilton. The former World No. 1 posted a message on Instagram after Hamilton raced for the final time with Mercedes.

Becker, a big Mercedes fan, thanked Hamilton for his contribution and wished him all the best. The former tennis star captioned the image of a radio exchange between Hamilton and Mercedes.

"Lewis...Many thanks to anyone who ever drove a Mercedes vehicle! You're the Boss" posted Becker on Instagram.

Serena Williams' husband Alexis Ohanian sheds light on his parenting technique

Serena Williams' husband Alexis Ohanian has shed light on being a girl parent by sharing a reel on his Instagram story. The Reddit co-founder claimed he wanted to raise their daughters as 'daddy's girls'.

Ohanian shared a reel which showcased a father's love for their daughter. The father of two shared that he wants Olympia and Adira to have 'high standards' when growing up.

"Basically raising my girls to be this 😏," Ohanian posted on his Instagram story.

ATP chairman speaks about the potential ATP and WTA merger

ATP chairman Andrea Gaudenzi opened up about a potential merger between ATP and WTA. The Italian added that the future of tennis depends on whether the two organizations can work under one roof.

Gaudenzi claimed that the WTA and the ATP should come together for the betterment of tennis. The 51-year-old further added that he hopes the two organizations will be unified by some time next year.

"This is a merger of all the commercial entities of the ATP and the WTA in order to manage, in particular, all the media rights, partnerships and data of the two circuits. The goal is to be operational by the end of 2025. It's not easy, but I'm optimistic." he said.
