Martina Navratilova re-iterates her claim about Imane Khalif being a biological male boxer

Former tennis star Martina Navratilova has restarted the debate surrounding Algerian boxer Imane Khalif. The former World No. 1 has claimed that the Olympic gold-winning boxer is a biological male after falling for an AI-generated image on Twitter.

Imane Khalif won the gold medal at the Paris Olympics in 2024, amid controversy, after reports of her being a biological male. Notable figures like Elon Musk, JK Rowling and Christ Evert all spoke up against the Algerian boxer, labelling the gold medal as 'despicable and dangerous'.

According to recent French-Algerian reports, via an MRI scan, Khalif has a 'micropenis' instead of a uterus. This prompted Navratilova to reshare the findings as she labelled Khalif as a 'biological male' and also addressed the cyberbully lawsuit that she endured during the Paris Olympics.

"And here we are- is Imane still suing JK Rowling? Good luck with that lawsuit. Imane might have been raised as a woman but Imane is a biological male and should not have been allowed to box at the Olympics." Navratilova tweeted.
