Taylor Townsend took to her social media account to post a video concerning the state of host city Malaga ahead of the Billie Jean King Cup. The Spanish city has been hit with extreme rainfall which has resulted in the postponement of the Spain-Poland tie.

Taylor Townsend, who is set to represent Team USA during the Billie Jean King Cup, shared a video on her social media page. The video showed that the place where the American stayed was flooding with water.

"Holy s**t! So we're here in Malaga for BJK and this… The water is coming through the room. The city center is flooding but like what the f***. Our room is flooding," Taylor Townsend said.

The match between Spain and Poland on November 13 has been postponed, but a decision has yet to be made about theother matches.

Carlos Alcaraz pleasantly surprised by his level during his straight-sets win against Andrey Rublev

Carlos Alcaraz admitted that he was surprised by his level of tennis against Andrey Rublev. The Spaniard has been struggling with breathing problems and suffered a shock defeat in the first round against Casper Ruud.

During his match against Rublev, Alcaraz could be seen wearing a nose strip which helped him breathe. The Spanish star looked back to his best and won the match comfortably in straight sets.

Speaking after the match, Alcaraz admitted that he was surprised by his level of tennis and claimed that he tried to forget that he was sick. The 21-year-old further added that he was just focusing on the match ahead and ignoring his health issues.

“Yes a lot. I surprised myself with how I played from the baseline and with my serve. I was really calm. I tried to be focused on my game and forget that I’m not feeling well, that I’m sick, all that stuff. Once you step on court you have to forget everything you’re a struggling with off the court. You try to put your focus on hitting good forehands and backhands. Make good tactics. I think I did pretty well. I surprised myself," Alcaraz said.

Alexis Ohanian posts an update about his health on Twitter, highlighting his progress

Serena Williams' husband Alexis Ohanian took to Twitter to provide an update about his health. The American businessman showed off his progress and shed light on his diet that helped him get back in shape.

Ohanian posted a mirror selfie on his Twitter account and further wrote that he had dragged himself to the gym before flying out. The 41-year-old also gave a positive update on his health and fitness.

"Dragged my a** in here before flying out. Eating clean the last year, pretty consistent taking my daily atorvastatin [a medication that helps manage cholesterol], and only drinking booze on special occasions. Lift Routine is the same tho. Just got another lipid panel back an LDL (bad cholesterol) has improved! It's now 89," Ohanian captioned his post on X.

Leylah Fernandez sheds light on her Halloween costume ahead of the Billie Jean King Cup

Leylah Fernandez talked about her Halloween costume, drawing laughs from her colleagues, ahead of the BJK Cup. Fernandez is set to compete at the tournament as part of Team Canada.

During the pre-tournament trophy presentation ceremony, Fernandez was asked about her infamous Halloween costume where she wore an avocado-inspired outfit. The Canadian star heaped praise on the outfit even calling it 'sexy' which generated laughs from her peers.

"I dressed up as an avocado. I found it sexy. I thought it was the best costume out there. You know, gotta go with the avocados of Mexico," Leylah Fernandez said.
