Tipsarevic defeats Murray in Abu Dhabi

Britain No. 1 Tennis player Andy Murray crashed out of the winner take all  $250,000 dollars Dubai Open after losing  6-3 6-4 to Serbian Janko Tipsarevic.

“I have some things to work on in the next few weeks, but I am looking forward to it,” Murray said after the loss.

“I have been training very hard in Miami,” he said.

“I enjoy Australia and have had played some of my best tennis there, so I hope that I can do the same this year.”

Tipsarevic will face Spaniard Nicholas Almagro in the semi-finals, who was a last minute entry in place of Rafael Nadal.

In another match, Spain’s David Ferrer beat Tomas Berdych of the Czech Republic 6-2 6-4 to set up a semi-final clash against World No. 1 Novak Djokovic.
