How Tall is Tommy Paul?

Tommy Paul is 6 feet 1 inches (185 cm) tall. He relocated from Voorhees Township, New Jersey, at just three months old, to Greenville, North Carolina. He started playing tennis at the age of seven, honing his skills on clay courts. His mother, Jill MacMillan, was his initial coach, an audiologist, and a former collegiate player at East Carolina University. A testament to their strong bond, when Paul advanced to the quarterfinals at the Australian Open in 2023, MacMillan, dressed in scrubs, promptly boarded a plane to witness her son's remarkable performance firsthand.

In March 2016, Paul achieved a significant milestone by breaking into the Top 200 for the first time. His entry came through qualifying for the Miami Masters. The following month, he received a wild card entry to the 2016 US Men's Clay Court Championships held in Houston. Throughout the remainder of 2016, Paul primarily engaged in competitions on the ATP Challenger and ITF circuits to refine his skills.

Fast forward to September 2019, Paul reached another career milestone as he entered the top 100 for the first time. This achievement followed his triumph in New Haven, where he clinched his second ATP Challenger title of the year, building on his earlier victory in Sarasota.

Paul's journey saw him reach the third round of a Grand Slam event for the first time at the 2020 Australian Open. Notably, he overcame the 18th seed Grigor Dimitrov in the second round before eventually bowing out to Marton Fucsovics. Besides the semi-final appearance at the 2023 Australian Open, Paul also reached the fourth round of the 2022 Wimbledon, where he lost to Cameron Norrie.
