Wimbledon proved to be his favorite hunting ground as he twice made it to the last four on the grass of SW19, losing on both occasions to the eventual champion. Krishnan notched up a remarkable 50 wins in singles in the Davis Cup and was ranked as high as #3 in the world, two records that stand till date.
