Video: Novak Djokovic shows his class with an incredible new shot
Novak Djokovic is one player who has risen rapidly among the ranks to be the best in the world, over the years. Ever since his first Grand Slam win at the Australian Open way back in 2008, The Serb has never looked back and has been playing consistently well, winning a host of Grand Slams in the process and emerging as one of the best players of the current generation.
The 28-year old who is coached by legend Boris Becker has won 10 Major singles titles so far and is ranked the number 1 in the world. Djokovic has also won 3 out of the 4 Major slams in one season, twice, achieving the feat in 2011 and 2015. The Serb also a host of records to his name, notable among them are- The youngest player to have reached the semifinals of all four Grand Slam tournaments both separately and consecutively; The first player to win three consecutive men's Australian Open titles, as well as the only player to win 5 Australian Open titles overall; and playing the longest Men’s Grand Slam final in history in terms of time: 5 hours 53 minutes.
For someone with so many records to his name, Djokovic is yet to win a French Open title, having reached the final 3 times and losing on all 3 occasions. However, with age and form on his side, it’s just a matter of time for the world no.1 player to capture his first Roland Garros crown.
Time and again Djokovic has proved to be one of the most talented players in his generation. He is known for many of his innovative shots on the field. Recently, Djokovic seems to have come up with a new shot while practising. This new, incredible shot saw the 28-year old turning back and returning a backhand without actually looking at the ball. The shot seemed so unreal that Djokovic was ecstatic and went on to chest-bump one of his teammates.

Incidentally, Polish tennis star Agnieszka Radwanska successfully attempted a similar looking shot against her opponent Flipkens in 2013 and even won a point for it.
