Video: Stanislas Wawrinka goes skydiving

Stanislas Wawrinka‘s ranking may have skyrocketed to No.3 after his Australian Open victory but the man himself took a great fall last summer when he went skydiving ahead of the tournament in Gstaad, Switzerland.

“It was a great experience. Of course, you get very nervous just before jumping off the plane but once you are in the air it’s a great feeling,” Wawrinka said after the jump.

Perhaps this experience prepared him for the sterner challenges that awaited him on court!
