Watch: Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal celebrate after winning doubles match at Laver Cup 

Yes, it really happened! The dreams of tennis fans across the world came true as two of the greatest players in the history of the sport played side-by-side in the same team and to top it all, ended up on the winning side as well. 19-time Grand Slam champion Roger Federer and 16-time Grand Slam winner Rafael Nadal teamed up for a match in the Laver Cup, representing Team Europe.

They were up against the American duo of Sam Querrey and Jack Sock, and after some fine points and memorable moments, the Swiss-Spanish duo recorded a 6-4, 1-6, [10-5] win for Team Europe over Team World.

The rivalry between Federer and Nadal is arguably the greatest in the history of tennis and even in the history of sport, with both having provided memorable matches of the highest quality over the years. Despite their advancing age and injury concerns, the two picked up two Grand Slam titles each this year, as Federer won the Australian Open and Wimbledon, while Nadal picked up the crowns at the French and US Open.

The exhibition match, held at the O2 Arena in Prague, Czech Republic, was full of action and provided some memorable moments, with both greats showing their camaraderie. They are loved and adored by fans all over the world for the relationship they share and all of it was on display as they fought their way to a win.
