"We are changing the game" - Nick Kyrgios and Thanasi Kokkinakis pose with custom WWE Championship belts awarded to them for Australian Open triumph
Nick Kyrgios recently posted a video on his Instagram handle in which he and fellow tennis player Thanasi Kokkinakis can be seen holding WWE championship belts. Kyrgios performed a tongue flick, a move associated with WWE legend, The Undertaker.
Kyrgios joked that he and Thanasi Kokkinakis are "changing the game."
"WWE Custom belts. We are changing the game," Kyrgios captioned the video.
Interestingly, Kokkinakis commented on Kyrgios' post and made fun of his "tongue wag."
"It's the tongue wag," Kokkinakis commented.
World No. 102 Kyrgios and World No. 97 Kokkinakis share a great bond on and off the court. They recently won the 2022 Australian Open doubles title. The two defeated Matthew Ebden and Max Purcell in the finals, clinching their first ever Grand Slam title.
WWE Australia's official Twitter handle shared Kyrgios' post and hailed the Australian pairing as "true champions." They sent the belt for their triumph in doubles Down Under and WWE have been known to honor big achievements in sport by giving sportsmen and women customer belts.

Nick Kyrgios and Thanasi Kokkinakis will lock horns with Hubert Hurkacz and John Isner in the semifinals at the 2022 Miami Open
Although both Kyrgios and Kokkinakis lost in the fourth round of the singles at the Miami Open, they are still competing in the doubles category. They will square off against Poland's Hubert Hurkacz and home favorite John Isner in the semifinals of the Masters event on Thursday.
The two are in red-hot form at the moment and downed the seeded pairing of Horacio Zeballos and Marcel Granollers in straight sets to book their place in the semifinals.
Kyrgios and Kokkinakis are eyeing their third ATP doubles title at the Miami Open this year.
