General Hospital recap (June 16, 2025): Why did Brook Lynn slap Lulu?

The General Hospital episode aired on Monday, June 16, 2025. The episode saw Brook Lynn in a heated argument with Lulu, which later prompted Maxie to step in. At the Metro Court pool, Carly thanked Jack for helping Michael and surprised him with a wrench.

Emma and Joss continued investigating Professor Dalton, with Joss managing to copy his phone data. Martin pushed Tracy to publicly welcome Drew back into the family, but she refused. Drew told Jason he’s going after custody.

In General Hospital, Brook Lynn slapped Lulu during an argument about Gio and the lies that kept him from his father. Lulu told Brook Lynn she had no regrets about exposing the truth and said Brook Lynn’s lies destroyed Gio’s life. Brook Lynn defended her decision to give up her son, saying it was for his future.

Lulu told her she would never lie to her kids and accused Brook Lynn and Lois of making Gio feel unwanted. Maxie tried to stop the fight, but it was too late—Brook Lynn hit Lulu across the face. Lulu was furious and warned that Brook Lynn would pay for it.

Maxie told Brook Lynn to go home. Lulu shouted that she would’ve taken her down if Maxie hadn’t stepped in. Maxie reminded Lulu that Brook Lynn went too far by hiding Gio’s existence, but Lulu went even further by hurting a child who just found out who his real parents were.

Joss successfully copied the contents of Professor Dalton’s phone while he stepped away from his desk. Vaughn radioed in to say she was clear, and Joss connected her device to clone the data. Moments before Dalton returned, she got everything she needed. She quickly covered his phone with an envelope. When Dalton asked about the phone, she pointed him toward the papers on the desk.

He found it and asked her to tidy up better next time before leaving again. Vaughn returned and confirmed the job was done. Joss now had everything that was stored on Dalton’s phone, which included the information that hadn’t been accessible through his server or work computer.

As this happened, Emma showed up, prompting Vaughn to kiss Joss in a quick cover move. Dalton was already suspicious earlier, and now both Joss and Vaughn had what they needed to dig deeper into his lab work and any secrets he may be hiding related to the animal testing program Emma was determined to shut down.

Martin warned her that the cops already had enough evidence to take her down and that this offer was her best shot at saving face. Tracy refused to make a deal. Martin left her with the statement anyway, saying she should take time to consider her options before the situation got worse.

Anna locked Dante and Chase in a holding cell to force them to work through their problems. She took both officers to the PCPD cells and told a guard to hose them down if they started fighting. Once locked in, Dante immediately brought up how Chase betrayed him. Chase tried to explain that Brook Lynn made a difficult choice as a teenager and was only trying to protect their son.

Dante said he could forgive teenage Brook Lynn but not the adult version who kept lying. He said she chose what was best for herself. Chase defended his wife again and said Dante was pushing everyone away. Dante admitted he may have gone too hard on Gio after the incident with Rocco and the alcohol.

Chase told him that if he kept isolating himself, Gio would never open up. By the end of the conversation, both agreed to put personal issues aside. They decided to move forward as partners on the job, even if their personal lives remained strained.
