3 high school standouts at Mario Cristobal's Miami for the class of 2025 ft. Hylton Stubbs
Mario Cristobal and the Miami Hurricanes' class of 2025 are ranked at the very top among all ACC teams, as per 247Sports. They have landed 22 hard commitments so far and have extended a total of 364 offers to some of the best high school prospects from the class of 2025.
The Hurricanes' 2025 class is ranked no.10 in the country, as per 247Sports Composite. 10 of the Hurricanes' 22 commitments are rated four-star, however, Miami has yet to land a five-star recruit from the class. Cristobal and company are set to add more athletes from the class to their roster in the upcoming weeks.

Top 3 high school standouts committed to Miami
#3, Hylton Stubbs
A four-star athlete from Jacksonville, Florida, Hylton Stubbs announced his commitment to the Miami Hurricanes on July 4 this year. He chose the Canes over other top schools such as Florida, Florida State, USC, and Georgia.
Stubbs spoke about his commitment to the Hurricanes in an interview with On3.
"I felt Miami could be the one for me when they visited my school in the spring to see me and Jamie Ffrench," the 6-foot-2 athlete told On3. "They showed strong interest, and my dad and I reviewed the depth chart and saw a chance to play early. Miami’s defensive line and overall front seven look really good; they have some studs up front."
Stubbs is ranked No. 99 nationally and is the 10th-best safety from the class of 2025, as per 247Sports. He is also the 17th-best overall prospect from the state of Florida.
#2, Gavin Nix
Gavin Nix, the four-star recruit from IMG Academy was one of the most highly recruited recruits from the class of 2025. The Miami Hurricanes, along with other schools such as Florida, Florida State, Oregon, and Auburn were hot on his tail throughout the summer.
Nix, however, chose Mario Cristobal's team over other programs and announced his commitment on July 1 this year. He spoke about his decision to commit to the Hurricanes in an interview with CaneSport.
"The main thing was the consistency they showed me and my family," Nix told CaneSport. "This recruiting process has truly been a journey, but no matter what the love they showed me has always been consistent. The trajectory and the vision that coach (Mario) Cristobal has are some things that I want to be a part of."
The linebacker is ranked No. 88 nationally and is the 11th-best linebacker from the class of 2025, as per 247Sports. He is also the 15th-best overall prospect from the state of Florida.
#1, Seuseu Alofaituli
Seuseu Alofaituli is the Miami Hurricanes' top commitment so far from the class of 2025, as per 247Sports. He announced his commitment to the Canes on July 5 this year.
Alofaituli took an official visit to the Hurricanes' campus on June 21 and was impressed with the program's workings. He became the Hurricanes' fourth offensive lineman commit from the class of 2025.
Alofaituli is ranked no.56 in the country and is the second-best offensive lineman from the class of 2025, as per 247Sports. He is also the second-best overall prospect from the state of Nevada.
