Sierra Canyon game a must-win for Kiyan Anthony and Long Island Lutheran
The Long Island Lutheran Crusaders have lost twice in a row, against Brewster Academy National last Friday and defending Chipotle national champions Montverde Academy on Saturday. The Crusaders have lost six in a row against Montverde.
Before the season began, Long Island Lutheran, or LuHi, was considered one of the favorites to challenge for the Chipotle national championships. However, things haven't gone well for the Crusaders, as they are ridin a two-game losing streak and a 2-2 regular season record. This start began with Kiyan Anthony getting injured against St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute.
It means that LuHi must now win against powerhouse Sierra Canyon and shake off those early season woes.
