"Happy bday Brodie": LeBron James' son Bryce James shares a warm birthday wish for his brother Bronny James
Bryce James, the younger son of Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James, recently posted a picture of his elder brother on his Instagram account.
On the occasion of Bronny James’ birthday, Sunday, Oct. 6, Bryce James sent him wishes by posting an Instagram story. The picture featured the brothers standing side-by-side, with their backs to the camera. Bryce James wrote:
“Happy birthday brodie♥️love you.”
James has also shown his skills during his time at USC. During his freshman season at USC, James played 25 games, averaging 4.8 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game. His ability to score, rebound, and facilitate play has garnered attention from fans.
Savannah James also sent birthday wishes to Bronny James
Bronny James’ mother Savannah James also posted on her son’s 20th birthday. She celebrated his milestone with a heartfelt Instagram post.
The post featured two photos; a sweet throwback of a young Bronny and a more recent image. The throwback image featured infant Bronny lying on a blue blanket with a wide smile on his face. The other photo showed grown-up Bronny looking dapper in a brown suit.
Accompanying the photos, Savannah expressed her immense love and pride for her son. She captioned the post with a heartfelt note saying:
“Happy Birthday, Bronny! Literally can’t with 20 [crying emojis]. Love you beyond words and so proud of you!! Keep being YOU!!!”
As Bronny James prepares for his inaugural NBA season, he's taking a measured approach to his role. According to NBA insiders, the young forward is likely to spend time with the Lakers' G League affiliate, the South Bay Lakers.
In recent interviews, Bronny has expressed his willingness to learn and grow during his rookie years.
“I know that I’m not going to be thrown into the rotation immediately. So, I’ve accepted that role and I’m coming in and getting better every day and learning from the vets and people that are going to be receiving heavy minutes. I have no problem sitting back and learning these first couple years and then building up from there,” James said.
He's aware that he won't be an immediate starter and is open to the idea of observing and learning from more experienced players.
