2025 4-star Kingston Flemings gives insight into his recruitment process as he boils his options down to 5 schools

Kingston Flemings, a highly-rated point guard from the 2025 class (per 24/7 High School Hoops), has recently trimmed his list of potential college destinations to five: Gonzaga, Houston, Arkansas, Texas Tech and Texas.

Ranked No. 23 in ESPN’s top 100 for the 2025 class, the San Antonio Brennan standout is scheduled to visit Gonzaga on the weekend of October 4-6. During his visit, he will attend the much-anticipated Kraziness in the Kennel. Before that, Flemings will make his way to Texas for an official visit from September 6-8.

"After the grassroots season is over, I will take about five visits," Flemings said. "I am still thinking about the schools but I want to take all my visits in the fall." A few of the schools have been on me and believed in me since the beginning," Flemings told 247 Sports regarding his upcoming trips. "Some of the schools came in later but I like all the coaching staffs."

As he enters his final season as Brennan High School’s point guard, major recruiting analysts suggest he might stay close to home. On3.com predicts Texas as his likely destination, while Rivals.com sees Texas Tech as the favorite.

Kingston Flemings, a 6-foot-3 floor general, played a key role in leading Brennan High School to the regional semifinals of the UIL boy's state basketball tournament last season. He posted impressive averages of 17.4 points, 7.1 rebounds, 5.5 assists and two steals per game, driving the Bears to a stellar 31-5 overall record, including a flawless 16-0 run in 6A district play.

Kingston Flemings rises in the recruitment rankings as he nears college decision

Kingston Flemings, a four-star recruit according to 247Sports.com, has garnered significant attention with 21 scholarship offers, ranging from local institutions like UTSA to prestigious programs such as Michigan and the University of Kansas.

Kingston Flemings’ recruitment announcement follows closely on the heels of four-star recruit Nik Khamenia, who included Gonzaga among his top five schools, alongside Duke, Arizona, North Carolina, and UCLA. Khamenia, a 6-foot-8 standout from Harvard-Westlake in California, has already attended two of Gonzaga’s Kraziness in the Kennel events.

Additionally, 247Sports’ Brandon Jenkins praised Flemings’ performance at the U.S. U17 Basketball trials, noting:

“His finishing at the rim was impressive and he did so with effortless explosion and great body control ... Flemings controls each game with a mentality dead set on winning.”

On3.com has recognized Kingston Flemings as the top point guard and the 13th-best overall prospect in the 2025 class. He plans to officially visit Arkansas on October 19, coinciding with the Razorbacks' football game against LSU. Flemings is also set to represent the USA 3x3 U18 National Team at the 2024 FIBA 3x3 U18 World Cup in Hungary this August.
