NC State suffered a tough 51-10 loss to Tennessee at Bank of America Stadium on Saturday, bringing the school's record to 1-1 for the 2024 season. The Wolfpack now shift their focus to the upcoming game against Louisiana Tech on Sept. 14. The team is also making waves in the recruiting world.
On Saturday, three-star edge rusher Anthony Addison became the latest prospect to receive an offer from coach Dave Doeren's NC State. The offer came from defensive line coach Charley Wiles and director of recruiting Alex Faulk. Addison announced the news on X, writing:

Addison committed to South Carolina's 2025 class in April. The class ranks No. 30 in the nation and No. 14 in the Southeastern Conference. Four-star Jaquavious Dodd along with three-stars Taeshawn Alston and Donovan Darden are other edge rushers in the cycle.
Meanwhile, NC State has 17 committed players in its 2025 class, which ranks No. 49 in the nation. The class is headlined by promising players like wide receiver Jerel Bolder, interior offensive lineman Isaac Sowells Jr., running back Kentrell Rinehart, tight end Gus Ritchey and cornerback Cam Strong, among others.
