Four-star safety Kaden Gebhardt kicked off September with offers from multiple Power Five programs. The first offer came from Minnesota on Sept. 2, which was soon followed by an offer from Kentucky on Sept. 7 after he made a game-day visit to watch the Wildcats’ 31-6 loss to South Carolina.

Gebhardt's third scholarship this month came when Iowa State offered him for the 2026 class. Matt Campbell’s Cyclones made the offer through passing game coordinator and safety coach Deon Broomfield. Gebhardt shared the news on X:

"After a great conversation with @Coach_Broom I’m blessed to receive an offer from Iowa State University! @Kstaff07 @CoachBart11 @AllenTrieu @MohrRecruiting @SWiltfong_ @OHSBravesFB @ISUMattCampbell."

Iowa State has yet to earn a commitment from any prospect in the 2026 class. But the program has extended offers to multiple players in this cycle, including safety prospects like Izayia Williams, Lasiah Jackson, Keenan Harris, Devin Jackson, Xavier Lherisse, Adam Auston and Niko Jandreau.

As for the Iowa State football team, they’ve gotten off to an impressive start this season, sitting at 2-0. In Week 1 on August 31, the school picked up a 21-3 win against North Dakota and continued the winning streak by beating in-state Iowa 20-19 this Saturday. The Cyclones are preparing to face Arizona State on Sept. 21 at 1:00 p.m. CT.

Kaden Gebhardt has multiple visits scheduled for fall

Kaden Gebhardt started the fall season with a visit to West Virginia for its opener against Penn State on August 31, which the Nittany Lions won 34-12. Last weekend, he made his way to Kentucky, and he's eyeing five more visits in the coming weeks, including a potential return trip to Penn State.

On the field, Gebhardt has been a force for Olentangy over the first three games of the season. He tallied 23 tackles (five solo and eight assisted), as well as a tackle for loss, one interception and two pass deflections.

Kaden Gebhardt holds offers to Penn State, Wisconsin, Purdue, Oklahoma, Louisville, Kentucky, Cincinnati, Illinois, Indiana and Duke. He is only listed as a four-star prospect by 247Sports, which tabs him as the No. 214 overall prospect in the nation, the No. 18 safety in the 2026 class and the No. 8 recruit in Ohio.
