2026 class prospect Sharroid Whitehead receives offer from Luke Fickell's Wisconsin Badgers

Luke Fickell and the Wisconsin Badgers are laying the foundation for their future. A lot of top talents from the 2026 class have received an offer from the Badgers, including the class' three-star prospect Sharroid Whitehead. He shared the news on X (formerly Twitter).

The 5-foot-9 athlete is a representative of Ocean Springs High School in Pascagoula, Mississippi. Whitehead is ranked No. 14 among Mississippian recruits and No. 43 overall in the country by On3 for the class of 2026.

Whitehead has also received offers from Florida State, Penn State, Tennessee and Texas Tech.

The Badgers have offered 25 athletes for the class of 2026. These include wide receivers Kennan Pula and Jarod Pula, interior offensive lineman Samuel Simpson and WR Rico Blassingame.

Despite receiving an offer from Wisconsin, Whitehead is predicted to land in Tennessee, according to On3's recruiting machine. The Badgers' class of 2025 sits at No. 15 in the nation's recruiting rankings. They have 14 commitments from the class.

Sharroid Whitehead will visit Florida State this weekend

Sharroid Whitehead is set to visit Florida State on June 16.

"FSU is a place I can see myself playing," Whitehead said (via On3). "I love the way coach Mike Norvell coaches and Florida is a beautiful place. Plus they have been on me since the 8th grade so that’s worth noting as I prepare for my upcoming visit."

He further talked about what attracted him the most to the Florida State Seminoles.

"They are a winning and hard-working program with a great fan base that doesn’t let down," Whitehead said. "I’m looking forward to talking to coach Norvell because that will make the love for FSU stronger than what it is now just to chop it up with the head man."

Sharroid Whitehead has offers from multiple other top schools. The three-star recruit is currently high on Tennessee's list.
