2026 class QB Brock Bradley confirms his latest commitment to Dabo Swinney's Clemson

Three-star quarterback Brock Bradley, from Spain Park High School in Birmingham, Alabama, announced his commitment to play football at Clemson on Wednesday. He chose the Tigers over Texas A&M, Wake Forest, Arkansas State, West Virginia and Cincinnati, among others.

Bradley's commitment is a big win for Clemson, as it marks the first time since 2022 that the program has landed two quarterbacks in a single recruiting cycle. He took to X to share his excitement about his commitment and to express his gratitude to the Tigers' coaching staff, including coach Dabo Swinney and offensive coordinator Garrett Riley.

"First of all, I would like to thank Coach Swinney, Coach Riley, and the rest of the Clemson staff for believing in me and giving me the opportunity to play college football at the highest level," Brock Bradley wrote.
"I'd also like to thank the other coaches that I've gotten to know throughout this recruiting journey. Lastly, I'd like to thank my parents for their consistent support and guidance, and to the many coaches, trainers, and teachers that have helped shape me into the player and person that I am today."

Clemson has a storied history under coach Swinney, with multiple national championships to its name. Coach Riley also helped lead TCU's offense to the 2023 College Football Playoff national championship game. Bradley is well aware of the opportunity to play under such experienced coaches and is determined to make the most of the chance.

"The opportunity to play football at a university like Clemson is one that I will not take lightly, and I will work hard every day to earn the trust and support of everyone that is a part of the Clemson family. Go Tigers!" Bradley added.

Clemson now has three players committed to the 2026 class, ranking No. 15 in the nation and No. 3 in the ACC. The cycle earlier earned commitments from three-star cornerback Shavar Young and quarterback Tait Reynolds.

Why did Brock Bradley commit to Clemson?

Brock Bradley received an offer from Clemson on Aug. 15 and made his commitment to the Tigers within a week. His decision was heavily influenced by his desire to remain close to home, which would allow his parents to attend games and watch him play regularly. The program's coaching staff also played a crucial role.

“Coach Riley is one of the reasons I chose Clemson because I’ve seen how he’s developed quarterbacks for the long-term and his track record,” Bradley said ( via On3). “Also, I want to play for coach Swinney. I feel like he’s a one-of-a-kind coach and you don’t find a lot of guys like that in college football today."

Brock Bradley’s commitment also reflects his confidence in competing for a starting role.

“I felt very comfortable about what they were able to present to me and the opportunity to come in there and compete for the job,” Bradley told On3. “That’s really all I needed to hear. Once I got the offer and they told me that they wanted me to come, I locked it down.”

Bradley’s high school coach, Tim Vakakes, lauded his ability to stay focused and excel under pressure. Last season, the prospect completed 65% of his passes for 2,100 yards and 24 touchdowns for just four interceptions, earning him All-State Honorable Mention and All-County Second Team honors in Class 7A.

Brock Bradley is set to begin his next season on Friday, Aug. 23.
