Three-star wide receiver Kenyon Alston from Bishop Moore Catholic High School in Florida is expected to have a breakout season in 2024. His team is set to play a challenging 10-game schedule, including matchups against Bartow, Mount Dora, Oviedo, Tavares, Lake Mary and Tottenville.

Alston's rising profile isn't limited to the high school field, as the 6-foot-2, 172-pound prospect is also hitting the headlines with multiple college offers. On Monday, he earned a scholarship offer from coach Kirk Ferentz's Iowa Hawkeyes.

Iowa's first commitment in the 2026 recruiting class came when four-star offensive tackle Carson Nielsen announced his pledge in April. If Alston commits to the program, he will be the second committed player on offense.

Kenyon Alston is ranked by On3 as the nation's No. 106 wide receiver in the 2026 class and the No. 89 prospect in Florida. 247Sports places the Orlando, Florida, native as the nation's No. 99 wide receiver in the class and the No. 74 prospect in the state.

Florida State is leading the race for Kenyon Alston's commitment

Florida State is in a strong position to secure Kenyon Alston's commitment, according to the latest On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, which gives the Seminoles a 52.1% chance of landing the talented recruit. He also received interest from Georgia Southern, Appalachian State, Arkansas, Georgia State and UCF.

Alston's journey with Florida State began with an unofficial visit on April 13, 2023. His interest in the program grew after he received an offer from the Seminoles on Feb. 14 and returned for another unofficial visit on March 26, where he had the opportunity to interact with key figures in the program.

"It was cool catching up with the coaches and seeing the guys work," Alston told Rivals. "I talked to Coach YAC (RB Coach David Johnson), Coach Rat (Assistant Director of HS Relations Keiwan Ratliff) and Coach (Ron) Dugans."
"My takeaway from the meeting is the work they expect their players to put in," Alston said. "You can't be a sometime player and be successful at FSU. You have to compete in the classroom and on the field… I am looking forward to building a relationship with the coaches and for them to continue to see my growth and development."

Kenyon Alston's most recent visit on July 27 saw him accompanied by several top-tier recruits, including four-star wide receivers Tristen Keys, Elias Coke and Kaydon Finley. The Seminoles’ ability to attract such high-caliber prospects has helped them secure five commitments in the 2026 class, positioning them at No. 5 nationally and No. 1 in the ACC.
