Five-star wide receiver Ethan Feaster from DeSoto High School in Texas has been in the limelight since his breakout freshman season. Offers keep coming in for the young star, and he is also making game-day visits to determine his early suitors.

Feaster was in attendance during Oklahoma's victory over Houston on Sept. 7. Now, he has set his sights on LSU and is planning to attend the Tigers’ non-conference clash against South Alabama in Week 5.

According to recruiting expert Marshall Levenson of Rivals, Feaster will make an unofficial visit to Tiger Stadium on Saturday night to witness the Tigers' last game before they dive into the heart of their SEC schedule. Ethan Feaster reposted the tweet, confirming the visit:

LSU coach Brian Kelly and his staff have their sights set on their fourth consecutive win. After victories over Nicholls State, South Carolina, and UCLA, the Tigers are primed for another strong performance. The upcoming match will serve as LSU’s final tune-up before facing Ole Miss in Week 7.

Meanwhile, after opening the season with two losses, South Alabama bounced back with wins over Northwestern State and Appalachian State. While LSU is heavily favored, the Jaguars could provide more of a challenge than expected.

Ethan Feaster's phenomenal athletic profile

Talent knows no boundaries, and in the case of Ethan Feaster, it certainly has no age restrictions either. As just a sophomore in high school, he has already caught the attention of nearly 50 college programs.

Texas Tech was one of the earliest schools to recognize Feaster’s potential by extending an offer to the wide receiver back in 2022. Since then, his list of suitors has grown significantly, with programs such as Georgia, SMU, Michigan, Oregon, LSU and Texas all vying for his commitment.

Feaster was instrumental in Desoto High School’s incredible 16-0 state championship run last season. He finished the season with 30 receptions for 634 yards and nine touchdowns over the course of 16 games.

Now in his sophomore season, Feaster continues to build on his early success by recording 195 receiving yards and three touchdowns through four games, according to MaxPreps. Horn Sports describes the receiver as a polished route runner with an extended catch radius and significant big-play potential.

Ethan Feaster is ranked by the On3 Industry Ranking as the No. 4 prospect in the nation, the top wide receiver in the 2027 class and also the top recruit in Texas. He also competes in track and field, showcasing his speed by running a 22.01-second 200-meter dash last season.
