3-star USC RB commit Duane Morris announces his visit to Tennessee for their clash against Kentucky
Oakland High School (TN) 3-Star running back Duane Morris announced via X that he would be visiting the Tennesee Volunteers for their Saturday, November 2nd, 2024 game against Kentucky.
Morris is a highly sought-after recruit with over 30 offers from schools like USC, Auburn, Tennesee, Kentucky, and others. He's rated as a 3-star prospect and is the number 18 player in Tennessee and ranks 43rd in the country per 247sports.
He committed to the USC Trojans in April of 2024. However, some big-time college football programs are reportedly still eyeing him including Tennessee. Morris unofficially visited the Volunteers and got an offer in November of 2023. He also visited them for their spring game in March 2024, and will now be back once again.
It is important to note that Kentucky seem to be in the running for Morris as well, given that he was given an offer in October of 2022 and had visited the Wildcats multiple times.
Duane Morris doesn't have a Crystal Ball Prediction on 247sports currently but has spoken highly of the relationship with the USC coaching staff, especially running backs coach Anthony Jones Jr.
"Our relationship is real close and he understands me. He understands where I come from and everything like that. I feel like those type of relationships are the ones you want. Those are the coaches you want to be around. Coaches willing to push and build you up"
