5-star prospect Devin Sanchez shares his reaction to 'Top 25 high school football CB' rating on IG
Devin Sanchez is one of the best high school cornerbacks from the class of 2025. The five-star prospect from North Shore High School was courted by some of the best CFB programs in the country and rightfully so.
However, the 6-foot-2 DB decided to commit to the Ohio State Buckeyes over other schools such as Alabama, Texas, Oklahoma, and LSU.
Sanchez was recently featured on the On3 Industry's top 25 cornerbacks list from the class of 2025. He was ranked No.1 on the list, ahead of other talented defensive backs such as DJ Pickett, Na'eem Offord, Dijon Lee, and Dorian Brew, among others.
Hayes Fawcett shared the post about the rankings on their Instagram account, and Sanchez was quick to respost it on his story. He appreciated the list by adding a 'nice' emoji.
Devin Sanchez is a top-5 recruit in the country from his class, as per On3 Industry Rankings. He is the best cornerback and is the No.2 overall recruit from the state of Texas.
The 6-foot-2 defenseman announced his commitment to the Buckeyes on January 6 this year. He is part of the Buckeyes' No.1 recruiting class and is one of Ohio State's 26 commits so far.

Devin Sanchez, the five-star recruit from Houston, Texas, is one of the best high school football players from the class of 2025. He is also one of the Ohio State Buckeyes' three-star commits to be named to the preseason All-American team.
Sanchez, along with five-star recruits Tavien St. Clair and Na'eem Offord, were named preseason All-Americans by MaxPreps.com. Sanchez announced his commitment to the Buckeyes in January.
Offord and St. Clair pledged their allegiance to Ryan Day's side in February and June respectively.
Both Offord and Sanchez are rated five-star prospects by all the major recruiting companies, namely Rivals, 247Sports, On3 and ESPN.
Sanchez is ranked No. 5 nationally whereas St. Clair is ranked No. 2, as per On3 Industry Rankings. Offord, on the other hand, is the 9th-best overall prospect from his class.
Ohio State's class of 2025 is ranked No. 1 in the country as they have already landed commitments from 26 elite high school athletes. The Buckeyes have also extended offers to 176 total high school players all across the country.
