5-star QB Julian Lewis confesses to not receiving invites from Shedeur Sanders’ private parties
Five-star quarterback Julian Lewis revealed that he hasn't yet received an invitation to the exclusive private parties hosted by Shedeur Sanders, who boasts an impressive $4.8 million NIL valuation, according to On3.
During the September 3 episode of the "2Legendary with Shedeur Sanders" podcast, Lewis brought up a memorable incident from July when Shedeur and Deion Jr. took a trip on their father's private jet.
“You just gotta be a part of it one time, bro,” Sanders said.
“Hey, I don't get invited to the private Sanders trip, son. I'm not there yet. I'm not there yet. Not there yet,” Lewis replied.
Lewis, a USC commit, continues to impress on the field, throwing for 352 yards and five touchdowns, as well as a running score, to lead Carrollton (GA) to a 44-22 victory over Rome (GA) on Friday.
Moreover, the five-star prospect, who reclassified for the 2025 recruiting class, is already ranked 12th in Georgia's all-time passing touchdown list.
Despite Colorado and Indiana’s efforts to sway him, Lewis remains committed to USC.
“As of right now, I’m still locked in with USC. That’s still where my home is,” Lewis told ESPN. “Taking visits is kind of a part of the process, I was going to go see what’s going on everywhere else, but I’m still USC right now.”
This season, Lewis has already thrown for 1,575 yards and 24 touchdowns in seven games. He threw 4,118 yards and 48 touchdowns in his freshman year, leading his team to the 7A state championship game.
USC commit Julian Lewis discusses dream endorsements and NIL
Julian Lewis has already made a name for himself with NIL deals from prominent brands like Leaf Trading Cards and Cactus Jack as he heads into his final year at Carrollton. Represented by Athletes First, Lewis discussed his ultimate NIL aspirations on Shedeur Sanders’ "2Legendary" podcast.
“Everybody wants that Jordan, Nike, all that stuff, that’s smooth,” Lewis said. “I think that’s every kid’s dream, getting a Nike deal.”
When Sanders asked which endorsement deal he’d choose, Julian Lewis replied:
“I’m not gonna lie, Texas had all that Lambo stuff going on. That junt was cool. Like, when they had that stuff. Stuff like that, that’s an eye-catcher for being a 16-year-old. You’re like, gonna go and get a Lambo. Stuff like that. That junt cool. I don’t really know.”
Lewis' NIL portfolio includes a six-figure deal with Leaf Trading Cards, partnerships with Jaxxon and Alo Yoga, and a collaboration with Travis Scott’s Cactus Jack. His On3 NIL Valuation currently stands at $1.1 million.
