5-star USC commit Julian Lewis reacts to Notre Dame commit Deuce Knight's Instagram post amid Auburn flip rumors
Five-star quarterback Julian Lewis, also known as "Juju," has been phenomenal this season, leading the Carrollton Trojans to a top-10 spot in the Super 25 rankings. Besides excelling for his high school team, the signal-caller also remained loyal to his commitment to USC, despite ongoing discussion about a potential flip to Colorado.
Meanwhile, four-star Notre Dame commit, Deuce Knight's recruitment is also stirring the pot in the football community. He made an official visit to Auburn during its game against Oklahoma last weekend, which the Tigers lost 27-21.
On Monday, Knight posted several photos of himself in Auburn apparel, which again fueled the conversation around a possible flip to the Tigers.
The chatter didn't go unnoticed by Lewis, who commented on the post with a subtle but telling reaction, posting two emojis:
"🤨😏."
During his visit, Knight was seen mingling with Auburn commits, including 2025 running back Alvin Henderson and 2026 linebacker JaMichael Garrett.
Even Auburn's five-star edge rusher commit Jared Smith, who also took an official visit with Knight, boldly hinted at the Notre Dame commit's potential flip to the Tigers, saying (via Tom Loy of 247 Sports):
"I have Deuce Knight as a lock to Auburn."
Landing Knight will be a big boost for Auburn, as the Tigers’ 2025 recruiting class, currently ranked No. 5 nationally, lacks a quarterback commitment. Knight has only played in three games this season due to injury, but he has recorded 516 yards and seven touchdowns without a single interception.
Julian Lewis commands the field in the Carrollton Trojans' undefeated season
Julian Lewis continues to live up to his high expectations by delivering stellar performances for the Carrollton Trojans. The top-rated USC recruit for next season proved his worth in the season opener, leading Carrollton to a 21-14 victory over Woodward Academy. He threw for three touchdowns in that game.
Through six games, Lewis has completed 77% of his passes for 1,377 yards and 21 touchdowns with just three interceptions. He has also added 42 rushing yards and two touchdowns on the ground.
Julian Lewis is ranked by On3 Industry Ranking as the No. 24 overall prospect in the nation, the No. 5 quarterback in the 2025 class and the No. 4 recruit in Georgia. The Carrollton Trojans will face Westlake this Friday, and football fans can expect another top performance from the signal-caller.
