Aaron Dunn commitment: Where could 2025 class four-star OT land? Lincoln Riley's USC among the favorites
Four-star offensive tackle Aaron Dunn is one of the most promising prospects in the 2025 class yet to announce his commitment. He has already narrowed down his top programs, featuring USC, UCLA, BYU, Utah and Oregon, and will officially commit on Aug. 8.
According to Sports Illustrated, there is a strong possibility that Dunn could stay in-state, choosing between Utah and BYU. Both programs have been heavily recruiting him and the chance to play close to home might be a big factor in his decision.
247Sports has no crystal ball prediction in favor of any schools, but according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, USC is the front-runner for Dunn's commitment, with a 60.3% chance of landing him.
The Trojans hosted Aaron Dunn for an official visit on May 31 and their 2025 recruiting class is already shaping up phenomenally, with 16 committed players, including two offensive tackles: four-star prospect Carde Smith and three-star prospect Elijah Vaikona. The Trojans class is currently ranked No. 17 in the nation.
On3 also gives Oregon a shot, as it has an 18.7% chance of landing his commitment. He made an official visit to the Ducks on June 21 and they have remained high on his list since then.
The program secured four-star offensive tackle Ziyare Addison in the 2025 class. The class already looks formidable with commitment from blue-chip prospects like Dakorien Moore, Trey McNutt and Dallas Wilson, ranking No. 4 in the nation.
Aaron Dunn's athletic profile
According to Gabe Brooks, a national scouting analyst at 247Sports, Aaron Dunn possesses the ideal physical tools for an offensive tackle. The 6-foot-7, 285-pound prospect has huge bulking potential, meaning he can add more muscle and mass. This is critical for an offensive lineman, as strength and size are crucial in battling defensive linemen.
Brooks also praised Dunn's long arms, which is a highly sought-after trait for offensive tackles, as it allows them to effectively engage and neutralize pass rushers on the field.
In 2023, Dunn primarily played right tackle while also seeing part-time action on the defensive line. He also excels in basketball, averaging 17.2 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game during his junior basketball season.
Aaron Dunn is 247Sports' No. 157 overall prospect in the nation, the No. 16 offensive tackle and the No. 2 player in Utah for the 2025 class. Meanwhile, On3 ranks him as the No. 30 offensive tackle in the class and the No. 2 player in Utah.
